BENZALKONIUM CHLORIDE Requires 10 minutes to destroy coronavirus.

Both allergic and irritant contact dermatitis start at the site of contact with benzalkonium chloride. In prolonged or severe cases, dermatitis may spread to other sites. The affected skin may be red, itchy, dry, or scaly, and may also blister or peel.

Benzalkonium chloride solutions of 10 % or more are toxic to humans. Yes, it is flammable. (Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide on fires involving this product.). HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

Requires 1 to 10 minutes to destroy coronavirus.

Mildly irritating to the skin and mucous membranes. At a concentration of 10%, which is found in some hair-bleaching solutions, it is strongly irritating and may be corrosive. Ingestion of hydrogen peroxide may cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract with nausea, vomiting, haematemesis and foaming at the mouth. Not classified as a flammable liquid, but it is classified as an oxidizer and may explode in contact with organic materials, catalysts or impurities. H2O2 itself probably is not corrosive. However oxygen is really corrosive in contact to other metals. It should be pointed t that H2O2 is not stable. Redness, stinging, or irritation at the application site.
POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE (LYE) No. Requires 10 minutes to destroy coronavirus. Contact can severely irritate and burn the skin and eyes leading to eye damage. Isopropyl alcohol is readily absorbed through the skin, so spilling large amounts of it on the skin may cause accidental poisoning. SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE Requires 5-10 minutes to destroy coronavirus.

Skin contact with low levels of this chemical irritates the skin, but strong sodium hypochlorite solutions cause burning pain, redness, swelling and blisters
